Morgan Clark was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Saturday, driving in six on three hits to lead Bulldogs past Randolph Southern 15-2 on Saturday. Clark drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the third, and a triple in the fourth.
Bulldogs fired up the offense in the first inning, when Jade Hill singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Harmony Owens pitched Bulldogs to victory. Owens went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out five. Haylee Parker threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
L Dalzell took the loss for Randolph Southern. Dalzell allowed 15 hits and 15 runs over five innings, striking out two.
Bulldogs collected 15 hits. Hill, Clark, Bri Shepherd, Drew Tubesing, and Malorie Woodruff each managed multiple hits for Bulldogs. Clark and Hill each collected three hits to lead Bulldogs. Bulldogs was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Tubesing made the most plays with nine.
