The Bulldogs were handed their first lose of the season to a very tough Sunman-Dearborn team last night at Centerville. Some highlights were:
6th Grade:
– Jonah Cornett took 2nd place in the 100 Backstroke
– Sawyer Murray helped his 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish
– Seth Swope helped his 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish
– Evie Morgan helped her 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish
– Isadora Motta helped her 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish
7th/8th Grade:
– Sebastian Dam had a set of 3rd place finishes with his 200 Medley Relay team, 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke.
– Captain Grayson Jarvis had a huge night taking 2nd in the 500 Free, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay while putting his stamp on the meet by setting a new Centerville Junior High 3-Dive record winning first place with a score of 95.35
– Nick Kenny finished 2nd in the 100 Butterfly as well as 2 2nd place finishes in the 200 and 400 Free Relays
– Levi Morgan helped his 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish as well as grabbing 3rd place himself in the 100 Backstroke
– Jack Sewell took 3rd place in the 50 Free and the 100 Free
– Eli West captured 3rd place in diving as well as 2nd place finishes for his 200 and 400 Free Relay teams.
– Captain Devon Whaley finished 1st place in the 50 Free, and a 2nd place finish in diving, and the 200 and 400 Free Relays
– Captain Avery Dickerson finished with 2 first place finishes in the 50 and 100 Free as well as 2 2nd place finishes with her 200 and 400 Free Relay teams.
– Paxtyn Elsrod finished 3rd in the 50 Free and 2nd in the 200 and 400 Free Relays
– Kenna Hemmerling took 3rd place in the 200 IM as well as 2 2nd place finishes with her 200 and 400 Free Relay teams
– Rowan Mathews took 3rd place in the diving event
– Tristen Marshall helped her 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish
– Alex Moore finished 3rd in the 100 Free and a couple of 2nd place finishes with her 200 and 400 Free Relay teams
– Tabatha Moore helped her 200 Medley Relay team to a 3rd place finish, captured a 2nd place finish in the 200 Free, and a 3rd place finish in the 100 Breaststroke
*The Bulldog boys swept the 3-Dive event
The Bulldogs will have a week off before wrapping up their season on the road at Connersville and Richmond on Oct 5th and 6th respectively.
